Is a fast paced place to work and communication with various aspects of management is a "hit or miss" when expecting a timely response.
Outpatient Medical Coder (Current Employee) –  Tampa, FLMay 26, 2018
like many companies out there, this one focuses on both productivity and quality of information captured and aren't very open to change due to the high level of competition in the industry for contracts. I firmly believe that if they like most similar companies out there, continue to focus so much on increasingly higher levels of productivity versus a balance of that with the quality of the information captured, that the industry is losing its grip on "viable, usable captured coded information for future studies and research. Also the company representatives and recruiters are difficult to reach at times and can take several days to get back in touch when an issue develops, yet expect you to respond to them immediately when contacted with no exceptions or excuses. A double standard???
Pros
competitive salaries, fair benefits(medical), easy to use system of recording time and attendance. great education benefits for CEU's.
Cons
poor communications, lack of work if you can't make the mark, empty promises of available work that never materializes.

Interium leadership system or C-Suite (Former Employee) –  Tampa FlaMarch 12, 2018
A very good place to start out in being a contract employee. they are growing so fast sometimes things get missed. No plan for downtime for when not all can be out on a contract, need to plan more investment into their employees to keep the intellectual capital they turn over at a higher than expected rate.
Pros
great referral bonasas
Cons
not all recruiters keep intouch with the people they bring on board and place

Beware!
Remote Medical Coder (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLJanuary 30, 2018
They have earned their fame at being a bad company to work for. They demand a lot of "homework" they make you do Lunch and learns and a lot of other things to be done off the clock. Not good communication always telling you rah rah this and that. They blame the clients for changes and letting you go.
Pros
Stepping stone in career
Cons
lots off off the clock work, very unorganized

Transition Mgr/Business Ofc Mgr (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXNovember 5, 2017
MedPartners was a large corporation that owned numerous physician practices and clinics across the United States. The company was very successful, but they also were in the pharmaceutical industry. Upper management realized more money could be made from pharmaceuticals than from owning physician practices and clinics, so they sold the practices and discontinued this part of their corporation.
