Work & Life Balance

If you enjoy working long hours
Only work here if you enjoy working long hours. Having more days off is lovely but not knowing when you will leave is exhausting. Expect to clean up vomit, stools, clean toilets because there is no maintenance crew.
Registered Nurse in Maryland

Benefits and pay are good, great health insurance. Often working short staffed between nurses and techs. Most nurses and techs take more than their appropriate ratio of patients.

Medstar is Not the best place to work at the benefits are good. But management wise it’s not the best I’ve seen 3 managers come and go during my time working for medstar
Procurement in White Marsh, MD
on May 4, 2021
management in the procurement area are not great at training. you are left high and dry and then punished when you dont succeed. Medstar as a whole isnt so bad but the procurement department couldn't care less about the people.
Front Desk Receptionist in District of Columbia

Pays very little for what they expect out of you. Understaffed most of the time. We had a nice office but patients were still nasty to you and management allowed it.
