Can a person work as an EKG tech is they have a 15 year old felony of controlled substance...where they had 9 vicoden without a valid perscription...
We are not disussing the hiring of a felon. Rather we are discussing the policy on hiring ex-convicts.
This is a matter of facts and circumstances. My questions are about his/her acceptance of responsibility and rehabiliation. Until we resolve those questions to our satisfaction, there is no point in continuing the discussion.
My first interview many years ago was awesome, she even waited after her shift to see me, hired me too. I looked forward to work every day, never late in my 15 years. Then it all changed to watch out, walk on egg shells. All my years of training, went down the drain.
My co workers, doctors were the best. I always went above my duties, training, welcoming, multi tasking. But when they need someone out to save their own job usually upper management, they look for a scapegoat to show they are saving money by eliminating people. Sad, sad, sad, sad.😭
