Great team members and employee support infrastructure (HR systems, employee education/training). Due to the specialized nature of the products, employees were able to have a direct impact on the HPC market and customers in that space.
Great technology, great people

Facilities Coordinator (Former Employee) – Monterey Park, CA – April 9, 2018
Working for Mellanox I learned a lot of new things that I can now add on to my resume. I learned the aspect of shipping and receiving and managing the facility. Everyone at Mellanox was very friendly, I loved working there and enviroment was great. The company took care of their employees and that made me loved coming to work every morning.
Systems Engineer (Current Employee) – Monterey Park, CA – January 11, 2018
The place has a toxic atmosphere. Either you are in management, and friends with the execs, in which case they will move you anywhere, even put you in charge of entire departments you have 0 experience in, or you are nothing. There is no in between.
They have one VP level, who has been in charge of 3 different departments that aren't related. They moved a lifelong finance person and put them 100% in charge of HR with no HR experience.
It's like that throughout the company. They don't put people in charge due to skills or experience, but due to friendship with management. It's a huge reason why they continue to under-perform.
HR Associate (Current Employee) – Sunnyvale, CA – March 20, 2013
Every day is a new experience at Mellanox! Employees have the work hard, play hard mentality and it makes for a really fun work environment. There is an onsite gym which makes staying in shape easier and HR is always throwing some kind of fun employee care event where I get to earn back my calories burnt in the gym on treats. Management is very open and there is really a family feel, everyone takes care of one another. The work is challenging and always changing so you never get bored.

Senior Technical Instructor (Current Employee) – Sunnyvale, CA – February 14, 2017
Management makes quick decisions and pursues them and does not to chase everything. The pressure to achieve goals is high. You can learn a great deal if you are self-motivated. and the people are great.
