Reviews for Social Worker in Memorial Hermann Health System
Decent
Social Worker (Current Employee) - Houston, TX - March 8, 2023
Good long-term benefits. Annual pay raises consistent. Despite huge efforts to change negative culture amongst hospitals, departments, unfortunately the negativity of a gang-like combat culture still intact. We are supposed to be ONE Memorial Hermann. Management discouraged from assisting in direct patient care when teams are desolate and drowning. Send a toxic message.

Social Worker, LMSW (Current Employee) - Houston, TX - October 4, 2022
Working in discharge planning is very fast pace environment. Depending on the service line- MDs actually listen to your opinions and allow you to be a social worker. Pay attention to the the service lines that have a high turnover rate!! There's a reason for it!!
Pros
Starting salary, free supervision
Cons
Orientation cut short, high turn over rate

Memorial Hermann would definitely be a great place to work if they put the right people in the management position that respects you and not treat you like a Nobody
