I work part time and got to pick my own hours.

I was a part time employee working full time hours. I only wanted 20 hours a week and was getting scheduled 40 as a full time college student. The days are long and they usually keep you past your shift end time.

I was a cashier/carry out and they made me work 35 hours a week ontop of full time school. I remember I scheduled a weekend off two month summer in advance and they made me work. They didn’t care.

I am a part time employee and I am regularly scheduled 45 hour work weeks after several times telling my managers that I cannot work that often. They don't care about you and I dont think they put any thought into scheduling.

Hours are available if you want to work. If you only want 40hrs, you'll get 40. However, if your willing to work 45hrs, you got it. Nice place to work.

The hours aren't horrible. Work-life balance sucks and they don't care about family life. What sucks about the hours is that every other Saturday is required and during busy season (spring/summer/early fall) it's all bust rears and gears with only thing they care about is numbers. Family doesn't mean anything to them.
