I was hired at the first interview as full time, where they normally hire part time then move you up to full time after the probation period. I went to orientation the next day.
I have been working with menards for about 8 months now love it I went in on a Monday applied immediately interviewed hired right then orientation on wed and started right after orientation such a awesome place to work very friendly place to work
I went in and filled out the application on Monday night. By the next day at 11:30 I had a phone call for an interview. The interview was 10 minutes long and consisted of getting asked questions and the interviewer writing down my answers. No eye contact between questions at all. The only time I was even looked at was at the end of the interview when I was asked if I had any questions. I was told by her that I would here back by the end of the following day if I would have a job, Never heard back until I called to follow up and was told they went another direction. I was looking for a part time position for extra money. I think there hiring process is a joke really. Wasn't personable or any give and take in the whole process like an interview should be. I felt like I was just another person in the pile of applications that they wanted to run though as quickly as possible.
2 days from start to finish. I filed out application in the store, was offered an interview within 2 days went to interview on Thursday mrng took drug test, by Friday they had called me to start.
I thought it was easy to get on there when the young lady interviewed me after I filled out the application. Told me to take a drug test and if my results were good I would be called in for orientation. Never got called back.
I had 2 interviews and a drug test, in all it took about 1 1/2 weeks but I was hired in as a full-time associate.
Fill out a App. Go in for the Hiring meeting, Go do a Drug Test. Get a phone call in a couple days. And Boom you Made the Team.

2 weeks walking in filling out the paper work. You cannot leave the store with the employment form it becomes invalid.

It only takes about 2 weeks. You go in for the interview and then they give you a follow up call if you are hired or not. If you are hired you have orientation and all that is required to start working is to pass a drug test.
