Merakey has different departments, for example, I work in Behavioral Health, while other agencies of Merakey may work with people who have IDD and direct care, or with children.. The department that I work in has a pretty well bonded culture. The stresses of deadlines, trainings, paperwork, and implementation of new procedures by upper management, seems to bring staff closer together because we depend on each other and share common stressors.

The management is horrible and mentally abusive. I was told no any time I ask off for (kid broke his arm, family member passed) they will deny your leave because they can't afford for you to be off as you run the office. H. R. take the management side because they are all friends and nothing you tell them is confidential management will know what you say word for word. They tell you to call QCO for problems but they just refer you to H. R. They posted my job the next day for less pay good luck we the next person.

Listen, and stop hiring unqualified people. Pay attention to the complaints people have made about the managers and employees who are still there. Why is it that these same managers etc are still there and can't keep staff in their homes? Check the old complaints on these people, and interview the clients to know what's really going on. Do pop up visits on the weekends!!!!
