The management is horrible and mentally abusive. I was told no any time I ask off for (kid broke his arm, family member passed) they will deny your leave because they can't afford for you to be off as you run the office. H. R. take the management side because they are all friends and nothing you tell them is confidential management will know what you say word for word. They tell you to call QCO for problems but they just refer you to H. R. They posted my job the next day for less pay good luck we the next person.

My employment with Merakey has tarnished my work history and my professionalism. If you are and RN considering accepting a position with this company, do yourself a favor and purchase liability insurance, if you don’t already have it, review your Nurse Practice Act (better yet, have a copy-I wish I did), ask your interviewer for a copy of the chain of command for problem management, clarify who your supervisor is, know where the patient ncident reports are and when is cause to complete one(record the answer), ask for a copy of the policy & procedure manual that you can hold in your hand and read in the office (not on your computer)and never say anything that you don’t expect to be used against you in a malicious way to ruin your reputation as a nurse and as a person.

I always felt under appreciated, felt as though I never did anything correctly and was never praise for the work I was doing. The students were very physical and would injure other staff and it would be “our fault”. Overall a terrible company to work for.

I left due to medical needs and I'd like to return to NHS. All jobs have challenges, but in my opinion NHS does provide support to their employees based on my own experience as an employee.
