Even though I felt like I was back in a grade 2 classroom (ground-school was a joke!) I stayed at Mesa for 4 years because I actually liked the job. I've had frequent flyers literally tell me 'you are too good for this company, why do you work for Mesa?' I took great pride in my job but staying in trashy hotels in shady areas gets old. Once I began feeling embarrassed on more than one occasion working for Mesa & due to managements lack of professional skills, I had to quit (IAH Base)
I have ZERO complaints our treatment during Mesa's FA Training. It was more than fair.
Hotel accommodations are provided two per room. The property is well appointed and surrounded by retail, a myriad of food options and services within a five minute walk. A full scale breakfast buffet is provided every morning and lunch is supplied by a food truck daily. Mesa also provides a weekly stipend in the form of a $100 Visa Gift Card to use at your discretion.
Be positive, professional, and make an effort to speak with everyone. They want to hire personable people. You can't be shy.
The interviews were very thourough as it is a highly sought after career. I had 4 interviews for the position
Humiliated. Other airlines won’t hire you after working for this literal disaster of a company
