The company as a whole is a good company. However I would have to agree that the Operations manager overseeing Jiffy Lube is the reason I no longer work for the company.
The district manager for Jiffy Lube is by far the worst manager I have ever had the displeasure of working for. He speaks down to everyone with his know it all attitude, and once proven wrong on something loses his temper. He thinks that threats are the way to get things done, and never praises the good that is done by those bellow him. If someone else, anyone else, even Hitler, more people might enjoy thier jobs and stick around longer.
Matt who over saw the Jiffy Lube stores will say one thing when his boss is around and something else when he is not. You are either his “buddy” or a hinderance. He does not speak to shop managers or the crews with respect on a consistent basis. Fact is he is moody, will talk behind others backs to their peers. He has a clique and you are in or out. If your where trained by him at the store level, act like him and are arrogant (like him but not to him) you might be in. If your numbers are good you may be tolerated but if they slip you are out. The company is good to work for with the exception of some people who only care about themselves.
Look at district managers see how they talk to store managers threats is not a good way for so called family type environment
