A typical day is very fast paced and easy to complete the daily tasks. There is always something new to learn and things are always changing (in a good way). Management is always there to help you and answer any questions you may have.

Processing Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Elizabeth, NJJuly 14, 2018
Miachel foods have all resources to make your job easy, and payment and condition of employment is more than fair. Benefits are really, really good, However workplace culture is a disaster, Starting with managers that Disrespect employees all the time, Is normal to see a manager Yelling out and cursing in front of HR department, without any consideration.

Currently Sanitation Worker (Current Employee) –  Gaylord, MNJune 15, 2018
You have no rights management and hr are always right. They don’t really hear what you got to say. They also run the machines too fast which gives time for error.

Supply chain (Current Employee) –  Minnetonka, MNMay 28, 2018
Michael Foods its is owned by Post and they have changed their work ethics. The new management is poor, they are disrespectful to people, the work time is loing and they do not pay enough. Also they expect you to do the job of 3 employees for the price of 1. The employees are afraid of all the changes because they keep laying off people non stop. I much rather go somewhere else.
Pros
Good co workers

Poor management, long hours, low salaries

Pros
Nice park to walk close by

Leads think they are gods
Maintenance Mechanic (Current Employee) –  Klingerstown, PAMay 4, 2018
Some days its not bad, others its chaos.A lot of favoritism and rule bending for certain people. The culture is cut throat. The other mechanics try to make you look bad. Production people won't do their jobs sometimes so the production supervisors try to get maintenance to do them instead of correcting the operators. They are afraid of losing people. If you kiss butt you can advance - doesn't matter if you have 20+years experience, you have to "look good" in front of the managers.

The shift i was on nothing more then a bloody mess. There was many people just getting by not checking the egg patties before place them into the box. Some times top few patties would have a neon purple or like blueish color that was from the machine. & they had no problem putting it into box then got rage when i corrected them. In short terms there was alot of weirdos on my shift.
