Overworked and underpaid employees w/ a CEO who has no strategic plan for the company to resolve many of it's issues.

I highly recommend staying away from this company. As a non-profit organization it heavily relies on the idea of paying it's employees a low salary with a negative job work/life balance for the sake of "loving what you do". The constant turnover of employees, including at the executive level, results in the organization having zero direction and the CEO being too timid to make any decisions. The CEO is an idea person but nothing more. No action is taken and no grand plan for the organization exists. The building and exhibits are in desperate need of repair and replacement but with no strategic plan in place to accomplish the needs, the negative experiences from guests gets pushed directly onto the already overworked and underpaid staff.

Employees Really Love what they Do, Location in Midtown, Large Amount of PTO

Employees love what they do so much their lives revolve around the company, zero direction from the leadership team, high rate of turnover at every position and level (including executive level), constant in-fighting between departments, very low compensation for work being performed, only employees with offices make adequate money

everyone i met there was great to work with and overall working there was a great experience. not only did i learn a lot working there but i was also able to help teach and inspire so many people and future leaders.

Great facility with poor leadership

They have inexperienced leadership running things the way they think it should be without the input of the more experienced senior staff. The staff are very caring for the visitors and pasinate about their duties.

The most funnest thing about the Science Center is the people that work here they love to interact with you and give you advice for different things especially about science .

this was my first job and it was absolutely wonderful. dress code was loose but still had structure that was enforced. no workplace tension, lots of friendships among coworkers.

Enjoyed working here! Very fun job and the customers were so polite and friendly. Lots of children were interested in learning about technology and I enjoyed teaching it.
