The store had medical,dental, vision but you had to pay so much out of your salary for it that it wasn't worth it. Even just getting medical I would've had enough money to pay my rent.
You got about 7 "instances" of absence per year, which was nice. What that meant was if you got the flu and were out for multiple days, it only counted as one absence for you. If you were out more than two consecutive days, you would have to have a doctor's note, however, and since only full timers got insurance, it made getting sick as a part timer unduly taxing.
