Okay, at first.
N/A (Current Employee) –  Davenport, IAApril 17, 2019
It's kind of like a bad boyfriend, everything is good at the beginning then you slowly start to see why no one wants to stay there. The amount of poor managers in all departments far outweigh the few good managers they have. Management is 100% the reason for turnover in many departments. HR is poor as well. "Retaliation is not acceptable" is a joke when complaints are made against members of management.

It was an ok place to work.
Energy Specialist (Former Employee) –  Davenport, IAOctober 22, 2018
The environment was waaayy too relaxed at energy services , almost to the point that it was unprofessional. If you don’t meet their expectations in 1 week your getting booted out. Their equipment/ systems suck and are slow and glitchy as heck. At about 1.5 weeks into the job they expect you to make and or propose process changes and improvements, but how can you if you barley know their systems and processes?! It was basically a waste of time and a joke working their. Also , don’t ask too many questions your first week there or they look down upon you and your basically setting yourself up to get fired. I wouldn’t recommend this place , it’s like being in the twilight zone and having vertigo at the same time.

Environmental Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Davenport, IANovember 21, 2017
The company was taken over by another business with a management team better suited to run the Company. Because of this, many good people were layoff.

Great company, cares for customer base. Customer service top priority
Office Support (Current Employee) –  Davenport, IAOctober 9, 2017
As Office support, I was there to assist the department with any and all computer needs. Assisting with network connections, peripheral connections and compatibility to other devices. Part of the Document Center, Wide Format Printing and Scanning department. Operated software for mail merges and printing addresses on correspondence being mailed to customers. Manager changed after two years. Workplace focused on getting daily job completed every day. Some stress but not a lot. I learned a lot about dealing with the USPS and submitting required documentation with mailings. Learned some about the printing process from a very large database.
Prior to this position I was the Desktop Support for ten years as a contractor working for Pomeroy IT Solutions. Had wonderful relationship with all my customers at MidAmerican Energy.
Best part of both jobs was my happy customers.
Cons
I was one of two non union employees, I had a hard time not pitching in when help could have been given.

Nice place to work long term as work environment is good and working hours are really good. Only issue is lack of advancement path clarity and very low increments

management is too interested and concerned in numbers. How many calls you can handle an hour. There second concern is customer service, a bit backward I think.

i would not recommend working here
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Davenport, IAFebruary 15, 2017
The amount of stress, pressure and lack of work life balance will make you not to work as a CSA here. The management does not care about your opinions. Management will watch what you do, where you go and your drinking or bathroom habits. You are disrespected by management and when you complain you are treated like you are ridiculous for your complaints. The HR on site Representative is a joke and he would be a better value as a paper weight. The amount of people on FMLA for stress, anxiety and depression issues with people who are CSA's is very high here. I would never recommend working here due to the culture and daily life is horrible.
Pros
Accrued PTO
Cons
Management styles, overtime at the last minute, mandatory 12 hour days, management would like you to sit down, be quiet and be seen not heard.

Billing Representative II (Current Employee) –  Davenport, IAJune 10, 2016
Logging into your phone each morning, logging onto your computer and begin working on solving billing issues. I've learned about time management, CSS computer database, how to resolve billing issues, budget balance issues. Co-workers are supportive, the hardest part of the job was learning the various types of problems that needed to be resolved. The most enjoyable part of the job was when you solved the issues and completed the task in a timely manner.

2 Thumbs Down
Customer Service of Unregulated-Sales (Former Employee) –  Davenport, IAFebruary 28, 2016
Some of the worst women to work with. Awful and nasty they talk to you in such a disrespectful mannor and get away with it.

Training doesn't exist, person who trains you only gives you half the information you need to do your job, so this way you can't do better than them. Mind game city!
Pros
They have none
Cons
To many to name
