Recently, there has been several departments, including the café where I was mainly working, that have undergone management changes where there was little consistency in communication. I've learned to ask more questions in regards to what the new managers expect of me in my role. The current workplace culture is stressed due to the changes in the company but I'm looking at it as a learning opportunity to enhance my own communication skills.
The typical workday is very fast paced with lots of members needing assistance. The most difficult part of the job would be trying to satisfy member requests with resources on hand. With that said, however, the most enjoyable part of the job is speaking with members and listening to their stories about why they have a particular request.
