Work at this company is great, you'll learn a lot, and get to know some nice people. The hardest part of the job for me was definitely the inner-office politics. If a person was hired before you, they have seniority. And it doesn't matter how hard you work, you will never rise above the less-deserving employees who have "seniority." Management is composed of awesome people - but when it comes to actually resolving conflicts between employees, they prefer the let-things-resolve-themselves method. Upper management has repeatedly had difficulty understanding insurance benefits and communicating the details to employees. Tons of money is spent on lavish resort vacations and flights with catered meals for a week that's only for sales people; while paychecks for developers could be better. As a company, we spent an entire day discussing a certain employee's evolving gender. But when a different employee unfortunately passed away, not a word was said and no days were set aside for honoring the person. I had to leave.
