Highway Maintenance Worker in Richfield, MN
on March 1, 2021
Really good
Great supervisors, good pay, great health insurance at cheap cost, good pension, just an overall great organization to work for. However, the meanest people I have ever met in my life work here.

Never going to kill yourself working for the state. Pay is good, people are okay and unless you do something horribly corrupt you shouldnt get fired.
Pavement Management Data Collection Technician in Maplewood, MN
on February 27, 2020
you can advance your career to a point but once you get to a point as an employee it seems you can't go any higher. I could go to collage and advance more but I'm a hands on, just do it and learn person
American Disabilities Act Engineering Assistant in St. Paul, MN
on December 30, 2019
Great for civil engineers looking for some field experience and or networking opportunities for future job contacts. Overall there is lots to do and a somewhat free scheduling basis with the typical government red tape
Research Analyst II in Roseville, MN
on December 21, 2019
My job offers much variety of work which keeps it interesting with lots of new opportunities and challenges for work and experience. In the warmer months there are opportunities to work in the field in addition to desk work. Management is very approachable, helpful and willing to mentor. The work environment is professional; each employee is treated with respect at all times. I am aware of project goals and timelines at all times. It is a work place that provides opportunities for success.
