Management
CNC Machine Operator (Former Employee) - Louisville, KY - August 25, 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedHR runs everything. No one else has a say. And I’ll never understand that. They run the entire show. Everything has to go through them. No plant in plant managers or supervisors. Because you have to check with HR

Brake Press Operator (Former Employee) - Louisville, KY - June 26, 2023
I liked working there but they don't appreciate a good employee. They do employee account ability by performance. I was always above the mark required. But when pay raise time came about I only got a 2 percent raise in called for

Just a paycheck not a career
CNC Machinist (Former Employee) - Louisville, KY - May 17, 2023
If you need a paycheck you will find it here. They do not excuse absences for any reason for the most part. And if you out in notice to quit be sure you’ve used up all of your PTO. They will end your job early and not pay out despite pre scheduled vacation days and earned vacation time. USE ALL OF IT BEFORE GIVING NOTICE!
Pros
Extras when it’s hot, extra break, drinks, ice cream truck, Kona ice truck
Cons
Get anything your told in writing, never think they will just do the right thing because they most likely will not

A job
Production Worker (Current Employee) - Tarrant, AL - March 3, 2023
High turnover rate and can be told to work weekends on Fridays. Can't really plan anything. All benefits have been taken away and we work alot of overtime.

HR Manager is rude and condescending. Benefits and pay ok
Machine Operator (Former Employee) - 7101 International Drive - January 18, 2023
HR not helpful, so what if you had problems signing up for benefits, she talks down to everyone. No employee wants to ask questions. Benefits are ok, Pay is ok. Lots of overtime, to many Saturdays.
Pros
Dinners, pay is okay
Cons
Need an hr manager that is employee friendly.

Overhead Crane Operator/coil receiver (Former Employee) - Birmingham, AL - November 17, 2022
I enjoyed working there got the chance to learn new thing. But as long as you and your co-workers work together you shouldn't have any problem.🙂 my supervisor was great easy to get alone with didn't stand over you. The job it's a laid back environment

Trying the same thing expecting different results
Confidential (Former Employee) - Louisville, KY - June 21, 2022
Company is struggling to keep customers satisfied and seems to be going downhill with no end in sight. Has potential but needs management to start trying new things rather than digging their heels in on their old ways.

Honestly one of the worst companies I have ever worked at. If I could give negative stars I would.
Team Lead (Current Employee) - Louisville, KY - February 1, 2022
Honestly there is so much potential with this company if you have the right people in charge. HR there is an absolute joke with one woman thinking she can run the entire place with an iron fist and not care about the employees. The president of the company is nice but all other management there is a joke. They are more concerned about passing the blame on to the next one. The company itself is going down hill quick with inexperienced supervisors that have no management experience what so ever trying to run departments. The crazy part is there is no accountability to holding workers to production standards either. Bosses are scared to take a stand but get mad when your crew doesn't meet goals.
Pros
Overtime
Cons
No life, no advancement, no support, a horribly ran company.

Work hard and learn as much as you can, you'll get recognized and promoted.
CNC Machinist (Former Employee) - Louisville, KY - January 6, 2022
You can learn a ton here, and advance your career here. Lots of good people. HR has segregated the vaxxed from the unvaxxed with orange stickers on the vaxxed helmets. Policies on top of policies have broken morale to an all time low. Pay is decent but not competitive by any means. They try to meet average pay scales not compete with them. All in all, you'll work with great people along side of you, and your direct superiors may support you tremendously like mine did. But the ones who creat the policies and or calling the shots have really tanked the morale of the company. You simply come to work for a paycheck. Don't expect much more than that.
Pros
Promotions within the company. Steady pay.
Cons
HR policies stacked against you. Pay is never competitive. Every man for himself mentality.

Jobs at MISA Metal Fabricating, Inc.
Great place to gain experience, then go someplace else. Good place for former felons to get a second chance.
Production CNC Machinist (Former Employee) - Pleasure Ridge Park, KY 40258 - January 6, 2022
Great Departmental Supervisor! MISA hires felons which gives those who have done their time a second chance. lousy working conditions, all production CNC Machining, and it is not much more than a Sweatshop. No air conditioning, upper management seems to have no concern for the floor workers. GREAT breakroom!
Pros
Company-sponsored on-site meals on select occasions, Modern and well-stocked break area, Nice locker rooms, My department Supervisor worked with me with respect to my disability.
Cons
Due to my disability, upper management viewed me as a liability, Hard work standing in one position for long hours, Lack of respect for employees by upper management.

The good and the bad
Quality Control Inspector (Former Employee) - Louisville, KY - December 27, 2021
Very productive and a good night crew. It's all about tonnage. Make them quotas or else. Seniority is everything. years determine who you are, not necessarily work ethic

Low employee morale, with horrible work life balance
CNC Machine Operator (Former Employee) - Louisville, KY - September 20, 2021
Management is horrible at planning & communication. You end up feeling like you live there with the common 58 - 60 hour work weeks. They have a bad problem with employee accountability everyone just passes the buck instead of owning up to their mistakes.

Very nice hard working people, but overtime due to machine break downs, poor planning, and turn over are crazy work every Saturday almost.
Operator (Former Employee) - Louisville, KY - March 26, 2021
Very nice hard working folks. Be prepared to work 10 hr days and Saturdays. HR support is terrible. Could be alot better if they just recognized employee life just as important as customers.
Pros
Nice people and supervisors are very perfessional
Cons
overtime, overtime, overtime no balance of life.

Hedi in hr was unprofessional
Multiple Positions (Former Employee) - Louisville, KY - January 12, 2021
Applied for first shift (6am) then interviewed said occasionally come in a hour early, then moved to a different department and was two hours earlier then 6 am, basically a third shift waking up at 245 am. Then family had covid and was called to inform them, the few days while waiting for test results was let go bc didn’t call in daily. Unorganized, unprofessional, underpaid. Leads were good but hr was unprofessional. High turnover rate I see why.
Pros
Break room
Cons
Shift hours not matching what applied for
