Management is a Joke
Small employee! (Former Employee) –  Englewood, COJuly 30, 2018
They take way to serious the "Stairs in Dealing with Issues"...Constant Unfairness with Management, they will turn down any complaints/Concerns or harassment Issues, if your not a manager. they are horrible at letting it be known that your doing a great job. Most the property managers are Lazy but WILL take all the credit for your work. Dont expect to be treated like a human at this company. They cant see when they have great employees because they protect managers only.

This is a company that was fairly new to the industry all together. They have been trying to grow, but I no longer know how their management is doing.

Good affordable health, vision and dental insurance. Pay rate is pretty low compared to other management companies. The expectations seem a little high when the pay is so low. Bonus structure is good.
Pros
Affordable health care
Cons
Upper management

Horrible employeer who only cares about their investors
Service Manager (Former Employee) –  Broomfield, COJune 23, 2018
If you see a positive rating for this company or one of its properties, its more than likely because they urged an employee to post one. I've worked for this company twice and got taken advantage of both times. The simple fact is that this company specalizies in section eight properties if you see them acquire a nice property please notice that said property is set to become a future section eight property. I was at a really nice high end property until they bought it and took all the money out of the property. The only thing this company cares about are its investors they talk a great game but their actions are appalling. Dishonestly is rampant in this company, spend enough time with them and they will make it clear they don't care about their residents or their employees. As far as employers go they're about as bad as Wal-Mart and Kroger. If you're a prospective employee don't do it you're better off working for anyone else besides mission rock even if it pays less its not worth being overworked underappreciated, ignored and underpaid throughtout your career. All in all there are a handful of people who care in the company and if they weren't so greedy it could have the potential to at least be a decent employer but from everything I've seen the likely hood of that happening is slim to none.

Application Support Specialist (Former Employee) –  Denver, CoJune 3, 2018
Horrible company and corporate culture. President is clueless and they are not knowledgeable about the people they hire. Not a team environment and as a 5 year old company it shows. They need an overhaul or they will fail as a corporation.

No clue how to manage, pull good people off jobs and put them in other areas to clean up messes they created. No feedback, no mentoring, no leadership.

PROPERTY MANAGER (Current Employee) –  Portland, ORMarch 18, 2018
I have worked at MRR for over a year and it started out decent enough. Not a lot of support or education when on boarding but if you know your resources, you’ll have an opportunity to succeed. Low budgets and short staffing is a constant problem. Lots of miscommunication and lack of follow through with the corporate executives. Management lacks life work balance and creates a stressful and sometimes hostile work environment

Average company, extremely busy environment, every one in the office and maintenance overwhelmed with work and pressure to meet deadlines, not enough training allowing room for errors and confusion. Challenging residents!!

Do you like to work your heart out and not get paid or recognized?
Go for it. This is your place to be. The "culture" is a lie. They will use you until they don't need you and then discard you.

No Accountability or Work/Life Balance
Leasing (Former Employee) –  ColoradoJune 4, 2017
Long hours with no breaks or lunches at times! No accountability, managers playing favorites, gossip in the office all the time. When corporate gets notified by different individuals you can tell that nothing gets down because it continues, felt more like a high school playground than a place of business.

The pros to working here is the flexibility and benefits they provide!

Great company to work for
Maintenance Manager (Current Employee) –  Denver, COApril 29, 2017
Currently working at a great luxury high rise building in downtown Salt Lake City. Working as the only maintenance employee on sight. The management there is great. The hardest part of my job is trying to keep up with turns, work orders, and keeping the building in good shape all by myself. The most enjoyable part of my job is being able to help residents when the require my help.
Pros
Having quarterly and monthly bonuses
Cons
Being on call while having to drive one hour to respond.

Terrible management
Leasing Manager (Current Employee) –  Tacoma, WAApril 3, 2017
If you like working for a company that only values the opinions of the god awful managers they hire, then this is the place for you.
Advancement is little to none, they tend to bring in others before promoting within.
If you don't have the name "manager" somewhere in your title, you can look forward to feeling excluded and under appreciated 90 percent of the time.
The managers also play favorites and there are actually people within the company who have such little of a social life, they strive and enjoy every opportunity to make you look like less of an employee when they get the chance. It's like a sick game and the atmosphere is that of a high school.

Stay away from this degrading job if you can help it a d find a more established renowned company to work for.
The work/life balance is awful as well.
Pros
Pay rate
Cons
Literally everything else
