Not a long term fit
Sales Associate (Current Employee) –  New York, NYJuly 27, 2018
Horrible human resources department. Co-workers tend to harass one another with no recourse. It was a great market but for the past 5 years or so, it has become saturated with startups and large companies like Google, Microsoft and Apple offering their own MDM services (typically for free). It would be awesome if we actually used our software that we create in the company. Might lead to more sales.
Pros
Free tuesday lunch
Cons
Human Resources, Engineering, our stock price

MobileIron brings a different kind of work culture than most tech companies. Offices are spacious and fellow employees are there for any questions or inquiries that you have.

Customer Success Manager (Former Employee) –  Austin, TXAugust 15, 2017
Working for MobileIron was a great experience. Incredible team of really smart individuals with great attitudes.

I learned that MobileIron can be considered at times as a small company by customers vs some of the largest software company competitors. But the products are extremely sticky which the customers love to use.

The culture of the workplace is focused around helping each other so that you can better assist the customer. No one turns away to offer help if they're able to.
Pros
Unlimited vacation time, free food and drinks
Cons
Needs a streamlined process of on boarding.

Bad for forward advancement
Technical Support Engineer (Former Employee) –  Austin, TXNovember 18, 2016
Many people were, and still are, laid off every month in an attempt to save face for their constantly dropping stocks and Wall Street reputation.

It doesn't work. It just ensures that they are always hiring a lower paid person for a job that everyone should be getting equal pay for.

The new CEO is most definitely crazy and is well known on the market for buying into companies, releasing non-veteran staff, and then selling to another company.

MobileIron is not good for advancing your career any more than working somewhere else on a contract. Don't waste your time unless desperate.

Senior Sales Operations Analyst (Former Employee) –  Mountain View, CASeptember 26, 2016
Used to have many great minds and talented workforce. However, since going public talents have been taking off elsewhere and replacement talents (especially senior levels) and skills were very disappointing.

The vibe it once had was gone. And more talents have left the company.
Pros
Free drinks and snack
Cons
lack of 401K matching

Learned a lot about the Mobile Device Management Space, the work is very similar to that of a financial advisor, only then your are selling one product, and the need for that specific product is not a top priority for your clients.
Pros
Free lunches on thursdays, fun people all around
