Eight, unless there are call offs, or unusually high volume. Then expect to be "guilted" into working overtime.

It depends on your area as well as staffing and shift structure. If you work rural areas, even with a coworker, you may go over 1-2 hrs some days. In a spread out high volume area it could be longer.
You won’t be scheduled more than 8, but that’s not including and call times if another worker isn’t scheduled right after you. As last long as your area is properly staffed 8-10. If it’s not you averages could be 14-16. I’ve worked a couple of 20’s but only due to very scanty staffing which has since been resolved and my management learned to step in and create safer conditions as well.

I work 2 busy areas alone so I usually work 10-12 hours each day, sometimes more. I also rarely have time for my 30 min lunch.

It depends. At least 8 hrs plus your 30 minute lunch break. I was scheduled off at 430 but usually around 4 my manager would call and say i have to stay late.

I've worked very few mere 8 hour days. There is no extra pay to work a 24 hour shift. No incentive to do it like with other companies I have worked for. There are better companies.
