Temp workers = disposable workers
Assembly Line Worker (Former Employee) – Toledo, OH – June 9, 2018
They use a temp service to hire people in. But once you're in, you can never get hired in permanently. Have to wait until a permanent worker quits and then they hire the temp with the highest seniority. One guy that trained me was working through a temp agency for over 2 years for $11, while the permanent workers make more money than you but do the same job. If there's even just one job on the line that you have difficulty with, they fire you. They're supposed to rotate stations on both lines, but only one line actually does, so you do the same thing for 10 hours. Union workers are lazy and goof off all the time, but nobody says anything.
Hours, clean facility
