A lot of cons not many pros
RN Case Manager (Current Employee) - Long Beach, CA - September 28, 2023
Underpaid for the specialty RN. Pay is way Lower than comparable jobs in the area. below what it should be. Raises are extremely low. Only 1-2% a year. Favoritism, managers promoted that are friends of directors. Unfairly promoted over better qualified. Lack of flexibility. Workload expectations too high. Don’t take pto for a vacation, you will not make your numbers and be given written up. I’m not kidding. Been here 8 years. It’s changed from a wonderful place to work to a numbers game. Clinical knowledge and experience is secondary to making the numbers game work.
Pros
Remote work
Cons
Low pay, lack of support, management favoritism.

Productive and fun workplace
Supervisor (Current Employee) - Illinois - September 26, 2023
Love the team I work with and receive great support from direct leadership. Senior leadership is like any other large company. Would recommend as a great place to work.

Stressful, unrealistic metrics
Claims Adjuster (Current Employee) - Remote - September 22, 2023
They’ll hire you for something then have you train for something else for 3 days and expect you to know how to do it when that’s not what u were hired for.

Toxic environment
Nurse Practitioner (Current Employee) - Detroit, MI - September 20, 2023
This is a data driven job. And metric driven. They are very micromanaging. The job itself is not a hard one but the toxic environment with the management will have you running. They preach work life balance but expect you to bend your schedule daily. Do not complain or they will target you! Watch out with this job.

HEDIS Coordinator (Former Employee) - New York, NY - September 15, 2023
Days of pressure breathing down your neck then days of doing nothing. Favorites are picked, but if you just do what your asked and participate in stupid meetings you’ll be fine

Training
UM Nurse (Former Employee) - San Antonio, TX - September 10, 2023
Mostly enjoyed the extensive training of this company. They actually have a training department. They keep you in the loop with meeting and let you know what is going on

Run don’t walk
Case Manager (Former Employee) - Texas - September 8, 2023
Over worked, micromanaged, and horrible leadership. You cannot adequately provide the services that the members need. The expectations are unrealistic. This company will leave you mentally drained.

Great company
Supervisor, Care review (Current Employee) - Long Beach, CA - August 25, 2023
Excellent benefits, organization cares about the staff and has room for growth. Working environment is remote - huge plus. Some processes need streamlining, but overall I enjoy my job.

Community Connector (Former Employee) - Troy, MI - August 21, 2023
Work was hybrid. Flexible. Team management was good and everyone was nice. Company mission/vision good. Benefits were okay. Pay could be better. No room for growth.

Fun place but pay could be better
Supervisor (Former Employee) - Miami, FL - August 15, 2023
If Florida wages would increase it would have been a great place to work. The culture was nice and the members were a pleasure. The benefit were great but the pay could be better.

Awesome place to work
Customer service representative (Former Employee) - Irving, TX - August 12, 2023
This is a fast pace environment that allows employees to showcase their abilities to help prove care for those in need. I learned alot about insurance and the rules to state benefits. The hardest part of the job is not being able to help someone when their is not with the insurance plan. I love being able to make a difference.
Pros
Teamwork and building relationships is important to be successful.
Cons
Sometimes you can get overwhelmed

Hardworking exiting.
Payment Integrity Specialist (Former Employee) - Long Beach, CA - August 7, 2023
a typical day at Molina Health depends on your work, weather you work at home or in the induvial office. the employees have a monthly work schedule and goals to meet. Cus/Svc starts early, depending on if the states they assist are in the South or Middle west states, or Northern states. Claims payment, and auditing are also depending on the states, and their requirements. Work culture differences from many companies, as Molina was owned by a Mexican Family, and rooted in family values, in caring for their insureds as well as the employees. Work environment is quiet and peaceful, in my own experience with Molina Health. Goal oriented, seeking knowledge in all things Medicare, Medical, HMO, PPO, and Care management, etc. All in all, Molina ranks higher in-patient caring.
Pros
The company celebrates their employees' achievements, highly recommended.
Cons
Helping people of all ages and creeds, affordable healthcare, helping hands

Horrible place to work! Don’t do it!
RN CCM (Current Employee) - Des Moines, IA - August 5, 2023
Understaffed, ridiculous impossible expectations. They try to cram in 14 hours of work into an 8 hour workday and absolutely refuse to pay overtime. 1-2x week, your charts are audited in ONE HUNDRED AND TWO different areas. Passing score is 90%, otherwise your job is in jeopardy.

Great job for RN's
SDPC RN (Current Employee) - Milwaukee, WI - August 5, 2023
I absolutely love my job. Management is knowledgeable and very helpful. There are various tools in place to make sure you are as efficient as possible and to make sure you can do your job. You need to be self-motivated as it is a work from home position with minimal oversight.
