One pool table
Warehouse Associate (Former Employee) - Berlin, CT - December 2, 2023
Long hours, you will work every weekend if they let you, there are no breaks, you work straight to lunch, there are no break rooms to eat your meal. you will eat in your car or inside of the warehouse. no teamwork. other than that you make decent money and forget to spend time with family cause you will be always working.
Pros
Decent money
Cons
no breaks in between, long hours, no bonus for the warehouse team. Very disorganized

You can make a decent living, feel like you're helping the environment and possibly travel as long as you stay disciplined and can handle rejection.
Field Training Manager (Current Employee) - Tampa, FL - November 22, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Schedule flexibility but Saturdays and Sundays are required work days. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? It's lead generation so we're told No, Not interested A Lot. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Fun, but you must stay disciplined. It's very competitive, and upper management expects everyone to be primarily motivated by money. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Spend 8 hours a day at Lowe's stores setting appointments for customers to have a specialist visit their home to answer their questions about going solar

The company has a disturbing habit of taking credit for the deals you close $$$$
Solar Sales Consultant (Former Employee) - Fort Myers, FL - November 20, 2023
I'm reaching out with an urgent warning about my experience at Momentum Solar, a company I strongly advise against considering for employment. My time at Momentum Solar has been demoralizing and disheartening. Despite my hard work closing deals, I discovered the company has no qualms about taking credit for its employees' efforts. They advertise a $500 weekly salary, but this hardly covers the expenses incurred driving around to homes, often revisiting the same areas multiple times in a day. Additionally, they allocate low-quality leads, leaving dedicated Solar Sales Consultants with minimal opportunities, while favoring others with better leads. Working long hours, sometimes 6 to 7 days a week, I closed deals only to realize that after giving my notice, Momentum Solar withheld my hard-earned commissions. This unethical business practice leaves new recruits, pressured to work tirelessly, without the compensation they rightfully earned. The company's failure to recognize and reward its employees creates a toxic work environment, eroding trust and integrity. Momentum Solar, without a doubt, is the worst place to work, actively working against the success and well-being of its employees. I strongly advise reconsidering any employment opportunity with Momentum Solar. I believe potential employees should be aware of the realities within this organization. Wishing you the best in your job search and career endeavors.
Pros
None
Cons
Closed deals, despite establishing customer relationships, did not lead to compensation.

The hiring process is fairly simple and easy and they seem welcoming at first but they are VERY nitpicky after your hire and unforgiving for little mistakes.

Unimaginable place to be
Sales Representative (Former Employee) - Houston, TX - November 9, 2023
This place is a meat grinder type of existence. Unless you’re single and already have no life then you might be ok. You start at 8am and your last appt is at 9 pm. If I happen to sell it I might be home by midnight

good pay, decent lead flow.
Solar Sales Representative (Former Employee) - New Jersey - November 3, 2023
company that provides good pay for salesman that make consistent sales. decent lead flow, some leads are horrible some are great, decent work life balance. i was originally supposed to ONLY work in staten island, as they promised me i would have plenty of leads in staten island. but for the first 5 months i had 90% of leads from all corners of new jersey, so the downside of that being constant paying of tolls and gas to goto leads that a third of the time don’t even show up or cancel or aren’t even interested. good energy in the office, most team leads do want you to succeed.

Stay Away
Solar Consultant (Former Employee) - Warwick, RI - October 30, 2023
Working at Momentum Solar has been a disappointing experience due to their rigid, scripted sales techniques and lackluster training and management. The company heavily relies on a one-size-fits-all sales script, which not only stifles creativity but also fails to cater to the unique needs of individual customers. The training provided is inadequate, leaving employees ill-prepared to handle real-world scenarios. Furthermore, the management team is disorganized and unresponsive, often failing to provide necessary support or guidance. This lack of effective leadership and flexibility in sales approach makes for a frustrating and unfulfilling work environment.
Pros
Coffee during training
Cons
Work life balance, scripted sales, low commissions structure, dishonest hiring tactics

Good sales training, then look for work elsewhere
Solar Specialist (Former Employee) - Plainview, NY - October 29, 2023
-On call for 12 hours/day 4 days a week, 10 hours on Saturday, 5 on Sunday. -Very good sales training bc they sell a terrible product -Management is a collection of immature, narcissistic, misogynistic males who are completely unprofessional. -Avoid the culture. You will not benefit. -Hardest part of the job is the hours, the useless weekly national meeting, and you paying for your fuel to work for them. -Also, installs have to be done before you get paid. This can take up to 6 months or more.
Pros
Sales training
Cons
Everything else

Avoid at all cost
Sales Representative (Former Employee) - Houston, TX - October 27, 2023
The job had decent benefits, but management is absolutely awful, specifically the Houston location. Would run you 12hrs a day 6 days a week. Avoid the Houston location at all cost seeing as how the management will probably never change. The low reviews don’t lie.
