Poor communication
Customer Service (Former Employee) –  Sandy, UTDecember 27, 2018
Training is horrible. They don’t give you enough information or tools to actually help the customer you are talking to. Management is a joke. Team Leads try their best I will give them that. The supervisors and coaches are drama and they don’t do anything but sit and gossip about their weekend or party life. You ask for help and they tell you told in hold so they can finish their conversation. They don’t help you at all. They hate taking supervisor calls (which is part of their job). They are all inexperienced teens that have no idea how to manage a team. The communication is horrible, if anything new is happening the customer service agents are the very last to know. No one is on the same page. One customer can call in and get different information from 3 different agents.
The CEO and all the top people in New York have no idea what is going on in the Sandy office.
They should take into consideration what their customers are saying on their reviews and Facebook and fix their issues. Customer Service is their number ONE complaint!! They need to look into fixing that!

Poor management, micromanagement NY!!!
Collections Manager (Former Employee) –  Sandy, UTNovember 29, 2018
Worked for this company for a couple of years and the NY management is the worst. They micromanage every little move you make and treat you like a kid, creating a hostile environment on the floor. New management doesn’t know how to work with employees creating dictatorship structures within the office. I’ve seen how they let go very talented people without any logical reason, btw they love to fire employees. If you want to have the worst experience ever, apply and work for those amateurs...

Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Sandy, UTOctober 18, 2018
Moneylion was at first very nice to work at but quickly had a change in management that was extremely disorganized and it was a hostile environment to work in. Managers didn’t know how to act professional and would have frequent outbursts in an unprofessional manner towards their employees. The managers were poorly trained and had very little knowledge. There has been many times where lack of communication and knowledge resulted in poor service to customers. Yes it paid very well for the type of employment and offered good health insurance but as a previous employee i experienced a lot of harassment and it was a very hostile work environment.

Support Supervisor, Collections Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Sandy, UTFebruary 14, 2018
Its a lot of hard work its hard to advance in the company because I was a remote agent but I definitely made an impact with the company as all Senior Management did not like the final decision to let me go. But in the end it was a business decision.

Collections Agent (Current Employee) –  Sandy, UTSeptember 25, 2017
On a typical day 120-200 calls made out to collect from delinquent accts.
Management seems to be knowledgeable.
Work place is still that of a new company and many changes are happening, therefore it is very difficult to get bonus that is worthy.
Hardest part of job is the constant change in policy.
Pros
long lunch
