1. Assistants or the administrators need to learn to listen to patients or customer. For example: I was a patient to have surgery. The assistant asked me about my insurance, I Informed her it would be no fault,gave her name and address as well as fax and telephone number; my case number.
I observed her take the information down. However, she decided to use an old medical insurance in your system that I had while I was working. This caused me great stress.
2. Bill coder needs to be more efficient.
3. Appointments made need to be on time. Receptionist should not be overbooking. I had a 9:00 appointment with eye doctor did not see her until 10:15 am.
Greeters need to greet with a "smile."
However, I found the hospital enviroment to very clean and sterile and organized within different departments.
Pay more attention to the workers
Improve your Homecare Dept... be mindful of the Quality of care the agencies you are using are providing to your most vulnerable patients. Utilize more in services to train Nurses and PT personnel to be more responsive to patients concerns and well being.
