I had two in-person interviews in Houston. After two weeks, I contacted recruiter for feedback. She has been totally non-responsive. Completely unprofessional. This has been a completely frustrating, nightmarish experience. DO NOT apply with Morgan Stanley. They will have absolutely zero respect for you and will certainly not value your time.
Buckle up.. you are going to deal with at least three different recruiters who do not communicate with each other.
First Recruiter: Conducts a very brief phone screen, this will take less than 5 minutes.
Second Recruiter: Schedules your interviews and assigns you to recruiter #3 for any follow up .
Third Recruiter: Does not follow up timely, so I would contact recruiter #2
I had a three part interview:
1) Phone screen with two leads
2) In person interview with the two leads that I spoke with on the phone and the director of the department
3) In person interview with the managing director of that group a few days later
I really like the interview process at MS. You typically interview with four people across the department you are applying to be a part of. You can get an insight into different managers and their perspective on the role(s) and life at MS. You meet with the Directors and VP typically when interviewing.

Takes a while and you must meet with with multiple levels of employees. The questions are not surprising though and relevant to the field.

Fair. Multiple interviews with different managers - each of which contributed to my understanding of the company culture and the processes that are in place.

Very slow and unresponsive. It took two interviews over a 4 month period. I had to call them 4 times to make sure we were still moving forward.
