Don't bother. They will be looking to fire you from the time you start. And if you get hurt, they will send you to a low rate place but drug test you first and if they want you out, will tell you that you failed your drug test even if you are clean. You can't fight them. They don't have to adhere to the laws.

I was earning over four weeks per year

12 days of sick per year. Management wants to know where you are going what you are doing. Teeth cleaning is only one hour and a half you can't leave at noon type of thing. If you are sick three days you need a doctors note or it is marked as unexcused. If you have multiply unexcused sick days within 30 days you can be fired.
