The culture is very fake and toxic in the corporate office. The department heads seemed to be against each other, always trying to overstep or pleased when another team would make an error. How can we be the best if we don't support each other?
The work environment is laid back. The educators were always willing to help but they were pulled in so many directions. There is a lot of turnover and that creates additional stress for the employees. Human Resources does not have an open door policy, they are never seen.

Social Workers salaries were cut by several dollars (sometimes up to 7 dollars), even for people who have worked there for 20-30 years, and they were soon to retire. This occured when Mount Carmel merged w/ Trinity Health. Since then there has been a lot of disorganziation and uncertainty. My work environement was often toxic and hostile (due to management). Work life balance is very poor and my boss was not flexible. My office was small, not inviting or comfortable, and dirty.
