I really love my job at MSHA. The people are wonderful. The atmosphere is perfect. Important work that makes a difference is why I love what I do. Registration, insurance verification, determine copay/coinsurance amounts, request payments, process payments, schedule appointments, work with local doctor offices to receive correct, accurate, revised physician orders in accordance with policy. Follow procedures to prepare the outpatient department for next business day. Work with other internal departments to ensure patient accounts and paperwork is filed correctly and accurately. Assist patients with charity application completion and submission. Help any and all staff, patients, and visitors in whatever manner is needed at the time. Act as receptionist at main lobby entrance. Switchboard operator.
