Ask a lot of questions regarding pay, increases, bonuses. How are complaints handled. Staffing ratios and the plan when there is a mass call out. If in doubt, if anything feels off...run!

The insurance sucks, however what is not covered by insurance, doesn't have to be theirs, will be written off if you are a full time employee. Probably the best part of working there. I spent a week inpatient and they wrote off almost $100K after insurance. So I appreciate that.

First is the staffing ratios, this place is unsafe and one reason I am no longer there. Next would be the way complaints are handled by the Human Resources Department. They are very biased and it is frowned upon to "rock the boat". I have witnessed many an employee complain about a female manager and nothing be done, but one complaint against a male manager for the same thing and he was fired immediately. Administration has no clue what is happening on the assorted units so moving their offices would be a help.

Almost comical stuff like, "do you want to work here". No kidding that's why I am here, duh! How much pay do you want, they seem to not have a scale based on experience or certifications.

Non-smoking for everybody, but only staff get harassed for it If they smoke in their cars. Patients smoke right under the no smoking sign.

Psychotic! They expect you to do more with less and have horrible staff to patient ratios. Management is poorly trained.
