Great Experience but very very understaffed
Structural Engineer (Current Employee) – New York, NY – November 17, 2014
This is a job that is great to start your career with, mainly because of the lack of personnel. Management is horrible and is worried about their finances and accounting more than job quality leading to a very understaffed office. As a young engineer, it might be a great place to begin because you will literally be thrown into any project that comes up which is great for the resume and great for learning. Co-workers are very nice and make the job enjoyable. Everyone is helpful and works as a team, mainly because they have to. The most enjoyable part of the job are the co-workers. Everyone is there to help each other out, learn, and have a good time while doing so. The hardest part of the job is working towards major submissions with NO project managers in the office. It is very difficult perform design tasks without any guidance and meet submissions with good quality work.
Co-Workers and Experience
No structure, very understaffed, horrible management
