Great insurance, reasonable workload, room for advancement, good management.

I worked initially in a floating position and now as a dedicated rolling equipment operator in the shipping department. The management is very good and will always listen to anything you have to say, but may not always be able to fix certain problems but that is not for lack of trying. My manager is a very reasonable, respectful and genuine individual that is easy to get along with. Supervisors obviously differ between departments but all of them are nice and good at what they do. Few do not put their department first which can cause some of my coworkers to be upset but any problems I’ve encountered were were not the fault of my supervisor or within their power/authority to fix so I don’t have any problems with my supervisor and they make me feel valued and heard as an employee. The insurance is VERY good and they offer a good amount of time off and bonuses. Aside from a few bad examples, the other employees are friendly or otherwise mind their business and don’t cause issues. Managers and HR are friendly and approachable for whatever you may need. Hours are flexible, allowing certain shifts and departments to come in early in order to leave early if needed and overtime is almost always available if you want it. There are many different positions for different skill sets but it is still a warehouse job at the end of the day. The pay is somewhat lacking but overtime can easily supplement that. The only downside is that the busy seasons are very busy and can sometimes last longer than expected and the employees should be payed more

Pros

Not overwhelming, good management, good benefits, overtime available, friendly environment, weekly food truck

Cons

Pay could be better

Okay

Great schedule but horrible pay, the work is stressful,… most of the staff in high positions only care about lining their pockets! But other staff members get along fine

Productive & Relaxed Climate

A typical day included high energy as soon as you stepped into the building. I learned alot about management style. The workplace culture was not that great.

Not A Good Ideal For A Good Worker

The engineers and the supervisors are very low thinking people. It is impossible to speak with a low minded people when you are trying to accomplish anything. Also, don't kid yourself. No Covid Cleaning Done in these Public Schools. The equipment is old and dated . JUST NASTY>They are very short staff and they out source for cleaners. Considering all of the above is understandably why. No person that that takes pride in their work would want to work there. Too many other cleaning companies out here that appreciate good workers.

Pros

Possible Benefits

Cons

Not A good work environment.

Good people to work with on 3rd shift and weekends.

Mismanagement on 3rd shift. The immediate supervisor and night manager are a conflict. But over-all good with good intentions. The leads are extremely territorial. If your not liked by them or get along with them on their terms you are an outcast. You will be singled out. When you bring their behavior to notice your ordeal is treated as a "teaching tool"., instead of taken to HR like it should be. Good people have lost their jobs because of lies told on them by leads or they were targeted by management. HRs hands are tied in trying to help you because they are unaware of the shenanigans of 3rd shift. Stressful workplace but it is not the job but the people who make it difficult for you to do your job productivity. As I said territorial and need to be given classes in communication. Problem solving, inclusion of co workers not leads but workers, team building skills are a must and a complete run down of employees handbook.

Great Place

I enjoy working here. It is a fast paced environment and they are always willing to train you to advance to a new position. Management is understanding and flexible.workplace culture is positive. The hardest part of the job is some times it can get overwhelming with the amount of duties. the most enjoyable part of the job are the staff members.

Communication

It’s a good place to work if there is communication involved and having a good team to work with and take directions and cleaning; I take my cleaning Serious and try to make our school a much better place and a clean place for our students in a clean environment with germ free. I worked for 55 years cleaning , but not at Mps I grew up in the business I know what cleaning about I love it I have no desire in retiring I just wanted to keep cleaning and make sure our schools are well-kept up I take pride in my work that’s why I want to pick my own crew

Pros

Nothing free it goes in the garbage, I have pictures

Cons

Not enough workers

Decent place to work at

Low pay now worth the pay. It’s an easy job but not a place to advance in career wise. Not so flexible with time off and raises average from 10 cents a year

Wouldn't wish this job on a worst enemy!

If you do not have friends or family that are already employed here do not waste your time. Friends and family of current employees/managers are the only ones that reap the benefits of working at this company. However, if you have family and friends that already work at mps/medical practice solutions you will succeed just fine. If you apply here in spite of this review, just know you are in for the most unprofessional, inconsistent, and nepotistic job experience of your life.

Pros

Nothing

Cons

Everything

Team Approach

Enjoyed that everyone was willing to help each other out going the extra mile regardless of the situation or other work they were doing at the that time.

Working for this company you learned a lot about nutrition

I worked for this company twice at three different schools and I can say it was a good experience I had no problems what so ever the manager was helpful with problem solving with the equipment I enjoyed coming to work and always ready to work . I had a wonderful experience working at mps.

Pros

As long as you had a ticket, you were alright if you didnt have a ticket, we would solve the problem that we had to call the office.

Cons

We did have breaks where we had the opportunity to eat the lunch which was nutritional and good .

Lack of Fairness

Very unprofessional. Rude management who yell at employees for minor things. Lots of anger and micromanaging which makes it a very uncomfortable work enviroment. You are expected to not talk to anyone and stay seated and in your cubicle.

Pros

Zero

Cons

Everything

Productive and serious workplace

Loved working at MPS, Management could have used alot of work. I went nearly 4 months without a day off. The higher ups did not like coving shifts or answering the phone on their off time. Although the job taught me how to solve problems on my own, and not to rely on someone's help.

Pros

N/a

Cons

Hardly ever got to take my full lunch or breaks. No days off or personal time

The best best benefits in the area.

There is not a lot of room for advancement in this company but that’s only because they are so great no one leaves. You have to wait for someone to retire if you want a management position.

Pros

Benefits and people who genuinely care about not only the customer but the co-workers too.

Cons

Not a lot of room for advancement.
