Great step in the medical , I was happy to work here because I dream to be a radiologist. But they’re not understanding when it comes to your health.

Amazing doctor's to work with. If it weren’t for them I would have left. The pay is the worst at this company. Managers play favoritism. Need to focus more on patients and not treating them like a number.

Like all inpatient jobs this unit is run with minimal staffing. Unfortunately staff are often low censused even though it impacts safety for patients and staff. You will find yourself and coworkers left alone on a locked unit with 8-10 unruly patients. The only way to communicate with other staff is via walkie-talkie so better hope the battery does not die. There is little skilled nursing required and charting is minimal. The job is basically babysitting. I would like more time to interact 1:1 with the kids.

Onboarding was unorganized. No proper training - many staff are just “thrown” in there and expected to survive, and very difficult to get an actual answer from other departments if you inquire about their process. There is a nice leadership training course offered by the leadership development team, but local leaders here can be toxic depending on who you work with. My entire chain of command was filled with unqualified personnel. I caught my boss lying to his boss several times about the state of our team several times (which ultimately impacts patient care), and my boss was upset each time his employees had a questioning mindset and actively retaliated against his other employees. Many of the staff left in a short amount of time, and instead of leadership addressing the issue, they continue to let his bad behavior go unchecked. There is a fear among all of us with no proper avenue to go through.Other staff members have been very kind, but again, the best staff keep leaving because bad behavior goes through unchecked.

The organization is growing so fast that it feels like everything is extremely unorganized. The executive leaders seem to care more about their appearance and sending out stories about themselves rather than improving the hospitals
