low pay, bosses have favorites, DO NOT RECOMMEND
Service Consultant (Former Employee) – Marietta, GA – November 7, 2015
Hours are long which is part of the business really, however this employer does not allow service consultants to even take a lunch break. All other dealership employees take an hour lunch but the service consultant has to wait for an available porter to go pick up lunch and bring it back for the advisors. Even though lunch may have arrived don't expect to eat while its warm, it may be as late as 4:30 before you get to eat even though you've been working since 7am without a break. The pay with this organization is the lowest I've encountered in 16 years in the business. You will only make a manageable living if you have been with the company for 5 plus years and have built a large clientele. Company is all about the numbers and not the people, you will be expected to push services that may not be needed. Management plays favorites and does not treat all employees equally. Large part of your pay is based off the survey results. It does not matter if your part is good, if the customer rates something low that you have no direct impact over its still your fault and its still going to cost you dearly. I don't think its right that you can loose a thousand dollars or more for a service that you may not have even made a penny on. This company has too many chiefs. They may be a large company and growing but that doesn't make them great unless your a share holder. The #1 employee benefit is a happy employee, hard to find any with this company.
Decent benefits, growth opportunity
no breaks, low pay, poor management, don't care about employees
