Claims Examiner II (Telecommute) (Former Employee) – Ontario, CA – June 13, 2017
Company is great for people who have been in the industry for awhile. Advancement, however is slow due to managers playing favorites, you may be bypassed for someone they are friends with. One of the perks is the ability to work from home.
Provider Data Entry (Former Employee) – Ontario, CA – January 7, 2018
A typical day at work consisted of management and trainer breathing down your neck physically and spiritually. Every single thing that I did was questioned in an antagonistic manner. I felt the animosity and the bad vibes on a consistent basis for about one year. I can honestly say that it was not a pleasure to work at NAMM California because there was no trust in me.
SENIOR APPLICATION DEVELOPER (Former Employee) – Ontario, CA – January 4, 2018
Nothing special. Just OK. NAMM has been acquired by United Health Group which has been acquired by Optum. There has been lot of changes since the acquisition.
Revenue Recovery Analyst (Current Employee) – Ontario, CA – June 8, 2017
I currently pull all the data for all our audits and billing in the Revenue Recovery area. I have been learning SQL and other processes to help managed my reports. The hardest part of my job is not having the skill set in my department to help me become better at what I do. My manager left after 20years and the new manager does really understand what we do. I enjoy learning new things and pushing myself to figure out new ways to get the data that will save time.
Pros
NAMM does a lot for the community and for different charities
UM Project Coordinator (Former Employee) – Ontario, CA – July 31, 2015
Supportive management, grew and developed my skills working with NAMM. They really treated the employees well. The one thing that I enjoyed working for NAMM is that there was no micromanaging.
Configuration Technician I (Current Employee) – Ontario, CA – June 2, 2015
Building and updating provider contracts is what I do on a daily basis. the job takes a lot of concentration and the ability to pay attention to small details.
