High turnover in manufacturing
Current employee (Current Employee) – Seattle, WA – February 23, 2018
A high turnover rate in the manufacturing department has caused new employees to be under trained and stressed to begin actual testing or perform procedures before feeling 100% competent. Management puts pressure on employees to train and perform faster and is quick to voice criticism when employees make a mistake.
Be prepared for working long hours, flexing your schedule and being underpaid for the high stress and uneven work/life balance. Although the turnover may be temporary, management needs to address the issues of why employees are considering to leave.
