Cons
Can be unpredictable, but that is just the nature of the job, The organization gives you a plethora of resources, to combat this.

Membership Representative (Former Employee) - Louisiana - September 25, 2023
No office or home base, cold calling in the form of walking into businesses to acquire memberships, have to memorize a script, but they’re going good for small business

Rewarding Career Choice
Member Representative (Current Employee) - Michigan - July 15, 2023
I’m so proud to be an employee of this organization. I’ve been in sales for many years, but have never felt this level of fulfillment at the end of the day. The work culture is simply incredible. I have found it to be an encouraging and supportive environment. The management at all levels is top notch, accessible and gives you all the tools to be successful. The bonus structure is very generous with UNLIMITED income potential.
Pros
Unlimited income potential, Impressive training system, Supportive culture. Important mission
Cons
Being commission based, you do need to have a strong work ethic to be successful

Great Career for work life balance
Member Representative (Current Employee) - Los Angeles, CA - July 13, 2023
Because the position is 100% Commission you have the opportunity to make a lot of great money. However, you have to be willing to put in the time and effort to get out in the field and call on Business Owners. You have complete autonomy to work the hours you want to, but the more you are in the field and more you have the opportunity to make more money.

The entire process with NFIB from initial contact, interviews, job offer, training and continued growth are extremely well put together and thought out. This organization has their stuff together. Everybody you interact with here ACTUALLY CARE about you and your success . There are no smoke and mirrors here. If you are willing to put in the work and passionate about helping others, this can be a $100,000 + a year career.
Pros
Freedom, Great pay, amazing culture
Cons
You will face rejection, but the positives will greatly outweigh that

Great place to work
Member Representative (Current Employee) - Oregon - April 20, 2023
NFIB gives you everything you need to make $100k+ starting in the 1st year. It’s simple and easy to follow. The only catch, if you don’t follow their program (including 5 minute verbatim presentation) you won’t get the results. If you follow the program, it’s hard to imagine anyone not making $100k+
Pros
Time flexibility, commission + bonus + benefits
Cons
Must be willing to walk into 30-50 businesses a day

Heart and integrity from bottom to top
Membership Representative (Current Employee) - Prescott, AZ - April 20, 2023
I have never worked for a company with so much heart and integrity, from entry level to all the way to the executives. The flexibility and compensation are fantastic, but the mission and family feel are why I believe so many employees here have been with NFIB for decades. This isn’t just a job, it’s a career and a lifestyle.
Pros

Modern day David and Goliath Organization. Doing big things for the little guys.
Member Representative (Current Employee) - Medford, OR - February 28, 2023
You have the opportunity to create you day, every day. Start your day when you want, end when you want. The tools you need to succeed will be given to you out of the gate, but self discipline will help to grow your career with this organization and keep yourself sharpened up to perform duties effectively. I have had a great DM for training, and several other lines of support and communication throughout the organization. I am on my own on the day to day, but several resources to execute my job are available with a simple phone call. Great work life balance, great incentives to push yourself to the next level. No cap on earning potential, and the opportunities get sweeter with time. If you lack self discipline, this job will not be easy as one hour in the morning is like two in the afternoon, so being a morning person helps. If you struggle with speaking to people you have never met before, it will not be easy to start, but that can be overcome in time. The hardest part of this job for me personally is zooming out and remembering it is a marathon and not a sprint as to not burn out. You have no cap on earning potential, but some days worked may not always equate to money in the bank, it is okay because other days worked will seem like a double day. It all pans out. Career game changing job for those who take it seriously, and know the work that they put in really does help in protecting small business in our country. Be the change you want to see in the world.
Pros
Flexible schedule and uncapped earning potential
Cons
No guaranteed base salary.
