Yearly, for in grade performance pay raises, effective first full pay period in January. Pretty much never do employees get the chance for out of cycle pay raises. Virtually all job promotion openings (to a higher band/grade level) are only available once a year, although lateral jobs are open regularly throughout the year without a change in pay.
