Unfortunately, the management has no understanding of what working with the Homeless is really like. The decisions they make are arbitrary and ill informed. For example, they actually requested the employees (Master's level Social Workers,) move out office furniture and put together new furniture from IKEA. They actually remodeled the offices while we were working in them with clients.
They continually violate HIPPA and other healthcare regulations. The executive management here seem to be the only permanent employees here. The upper management pays no attention to employee recommendations and doesn't seem to see any need to keep employees there after they've become experienced.
This company will expect you to take responsibility for their mistakes and then fire you for some small slight. Beware!
