Reviews about Pay & Benefits for Insurance Agent in National Life Group

Products are based on human needs. We work as team.

I love living benefits and retirements. For example, cash accumulation, college funds, differents type of Annuities, and tremendous other benefits.

Overrated and culture yeah okay

This company tries to say that there is great work life balance and company culture is top notch. Well first off mandatory overtime happens more often than not and you are asked to work a minimum of 40 hours so work life balance yeah not there. Also company culture is shoved down your throat. You don't get to choose your involvement level they force constant culture workshops and surveys on you. Also benefits yeah health insurance is there but be prepared to pay an arm and a leg for it and co-pays. Also forgot moving up. Managers stay in the same position for their whole career until they are forced out and then they go with an outside hire. Very few people there actually care about you as a person. If you are okay with being a number and being replaced once they feel they can get someone cheaper be my guest. This once people oriented company I started working for has just become big corporate while trying to mask as a small company feel.

Pros

Benefits, full time work

Cons

Health care is over-priced, just a number to them, bad work life balance
