Poor work/life balance
General Operations Manager (Former Employee) –  Atlanta, GAFebruary 5, 2018
Great company but has seen some decline in culture over the past few years. Can be difficult to be heard if working from a remote location, most opportunities for advancement only take place if working from company head quarters in san Diego.
Pros
Great co-workers
Cons
demanding workload with inflexible time off

Transportation Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Poway, CAJanuary 30, 2018
Work life balance is not existing. Gossip filled and crabs in a bucket trying to knock each other down. Typical day is stress, and being pulled in different directions on a consistent basis as every other department thinks theirs is a higher priority.
Pros
Relationships, face paced and day goes by fast
Cons
Gossip, Promises not kept and backstabbing

Operations
Operations (Current Employee) –  San Diego, CAFebruary 17, 2017
The hourly employees, especially in the warehouse are the heart that keeps the machine going. They work long hours.
The balance of the office staff tend to be back stabbing and the culture encourages this by turning a blind eye and rewarding it.
Exec staff is forward thinkers that do care about the employees but heavily influenced by the office staff, rumors and will term you at a drop of a hat if they think you do not "fit in" . If you upset a couple of the princesses they will persuade the execs to eliminate you.
Have seen good people removed at the expense of insecure, power hungry office staff that stir the hate.
Can be a great and fun place to work but high turnover and high school antics are too much.
Cons
Pay, office personnel.

A power sports enthuisaists dream come true
General Operations Manager (Current Employee) –  East Point, GAOctober 12, 2016
I've worked for NPA for 8 years and it has been the best 8 years of my career. The company is well established with clear goals and plans for future growth.
No 2 days are ever the same as the product and clients are ever changing.
My coworkers are great and everyone enjoys coming to work in a drama free environment.
There is no other motorcycle shop like it in the world. We see every make, model and level of customization imaginable. It is truly paradise for power sports enthusiasts.
The executive team is approachable and willing to listen and implement new ideas. This is one place that promotes evolution and values its employees.
Pros
Great Benefits, Great compensation and no weekends
Cons
Occasional long hours are required

poor management, lack of management skills, promised raises and growth opportunities at hire that does not exist. Did not get paid what the salary agreement was. They will terminate you for no reason, there is favoritism within management. Underpaid, unappreciated.
Pros
the clients/dealers
