Company has been running several years, so the basic tasks work well. Typical work environment--work gets done until management gets involved. Top heavy with management with multiple C-level execs, presidents, and vice presidents. Current starting pay is sub-par so hard to attract new employees especially at entry levels. Advancement is mainly by friendships formed with higher ups or nepotism. Most management has no formal training in either managing or in their respective areas (such as a young CFO with no accounting experience) so they don't handle employees well and can't provide answers. Their direction is usually "you should be able to figure it out; just get this done now". Most of the manufacturing and shipping is working fine--issues come in when managers have some new idea they read about online or came up with at one of their monthly "retreats". No training besides the basics of how to fill out time cards, show you around the building, basics of doing a task. Not a bad place to work--it's pretty typical medium sized workplace where you're left alone for the most part. The problem comes when you need to know something and there's no one to help but you're still expected to know it.

The work is easy but the management sucks. I couldn't use my pto unless I fought with my boss to get days off. If you're looking for a short term job it's an okay filler, but I would not recommend working at this place for more than 6 months, after that you're just wasting your time.

I’ve been here nearly two years and while it isn’t the worst job in the world, it has progressively gotten worse and I fear it will continue to get worse. It started out as a super chill job, no pressure, basically just as long as you get your job done and are respectful of others, then you’re good. But then we got a new manager who completely ruined everything. Now they constantly breathe down your necks about everything, they stopped allowing you to listen to music and now if you want to listen to music you have to listen to the same horrible music the manager plays every day, plus they cut everyone’s pay and refuse to hire enough employees so everyone has to do twice as much work now. Apparently this seems to be pretty normal for warehouse jobs, so that’s why I say for a warehouse job it’s not terrible, but it’s a lot worse than it used to be and likely will continue to get worse. The pay is not too bad either, but you will most likely be started as a temp which the pay is pretty bad for, and they very rarely hire on temps. The only people they do direct hires for are people who are buddy-buddy with someone in the company, otherwise they force you to use a temp service so they don’t have to give you any benefits or pay you well, and then keep giving you empty promises of getting hired on but they never will.

Picture working hard for a leadership position. Putting in hours of hard work and showing interest in advancement for it to be filled in by one of managements friends from off the street without interviewing others for the position.

This is a good place to work. There is room for advancement if you want it. People are nice and if you have a question they will help you as best as they can. They have multiple shidts that will work with your schedule
