Typical banking work-style. Work as hard as possible, but not much reward or recognition. You're constantly walking on eggshells. There's constant reorgs occurring.

Still can't figure out what they want to be when they grow up
Vice President (Former Employee) –  New York, NYMarch 25, 2018
Natixis wants to be a bulge bracket bank, but don't have any of the resources or talent. Additionally pay is not competitive and there is no cohesive culture as there is a lack of true management.

Learning Manager (Former Employee) –  ParisMarch 19, 2018
I loved to work for Natixis Interepargne. The management was good, young, well prepared. Leaders were fair and human.
Unfortunately, during the period I was working for this company, the company had to deal with a huge processes change, consequently many process were reviewed, with the consequence that it generated a little bit of stress in the team members.

But generally speaking the culture of the company is very good and the Bank industry has to face with a fast-paced business environment, and to see quickly the future opportunities of the financial services industry. Sometimes, employees do not understand it. Instead of cooperating, they resist. The job of an HR manager is to make equal and fair the change and reassure the people when it is necessary.
This is the main challenge of an HR person... I personally love to change, so for me this is only a big opportunity to face with
Pros
lot of benefits
Cons
the company site is not in the center of Paris

really poor management, and below average salary compensation. Really hard to get promoted internally, as it seems they prefer to hire externally. Not stressful though, but they do not use the full capacity of their employees.

Executive Director (Former Employee) –  New York, NYJanuary 31, 2018
Good Benefits and Work/Life balance. Not terribly taxing work-day. Didn't feel it was a great place for advancement or learning. Management was weak and poorly placed. Culture was ok but morale was awful. Did not have the product flow needed to stay relevant with customers.
Pros
Good benefits
Cons
Strategy, management and lack of product.

Investment Consultant (Former Employee) –  Boston, MADecember 28, 2017
Factory feel - not much room for creativity or thinking outside the box, mostly white men. Incentives from management to inflate numbers and to "figure it out" from peers. Felt like a fraternity.

Investment Consultant (Current Employee) –  Boston, MAOctober 24, 2017
People are great but there is a lack of good middle management and limited upside potential within the company. The company is very charitable so that is a big plus.

Great place to work but not competitive in terms of salary and compensation. Too many layers of management. Lots of micromanagement. Wouldn't mind working there again for right price.

I absolutely loved interning here! The culture was my favorite part because everyone I met was so supportive and fostered a collaborative environment. It was very easy for me to grow comfortable in my role and readily assist is departmental work and intern projects. I got to learn a lot about the structure of the company and the asset management industry.

Corporate Services Team Supervisor/VP (Former Employee) –  New York, NYMay 11, 2015
During a typical day at work I handled security issues, facilities maintenance and repairs, prepare for upcoming moves and interact will employees of all different levels.

During my employment at Natixis I have accrued a multitude of skills such as facilities management, security, space review, purchasing, housekeeping, etc.

The Corporate Services Team at Natixis was a team that was very supportive of one another and worked very well together. Even during very busy times we managed to make each other smile.

The most enjoyable part of the job was interacting and creating relationships with the people I worked with. As an office manager/coordinator you get to work with not only all employees of the company but also building management, vendors, auditors and consultants.
