Ask about expectation around sales targets and get it in writing. Assure that your area knows your skills and what you bring to the table so your not simply put on a job that you are not qualified for, just because the sale is needed for the job.
Ask about the culture and then observe if it fits with your experience.
Track your hours and utilization and assure that credit is given even if managers write off hours because they scoped the job incorrectly and simply want to fall into budget. Interview your supervisor and assess if his or her education and experience align with your department.
