  • Long and tedious. Lots of call backs and reschedules.

  • Keep doing good job

  • It was a LONG time ago, but when I left there was still a cadence of multiple phone interviews, ideally followed by an in-person interview. It was very conversational while also reviewing past work and experience.

  • Had to write and anchor three newscasts for audition.

  • It took 5 months...

  • Know how the television equipment works and how to operate it. Know the test equipment and how to solder.

  • All depends on the department, but they usually just want to get to know the applicant and see if they have a mind for sports and media.

  • It's a whole day process if it goes well. You'll meet with several people at different levels of the staff, both inside and outside of the news department.

  • Professional and encouraging!... They seek out only the best in an applicant, and will embrace a potential candidate with positive encouragement.

  • It was very eye opening. I was asked questions and then met 3 different people and were told what they all do and asked them questions about their job and how they got there. It was an on sight interview and after the interview, I got the position right away.
