Repetitive work with a bunch of old warehouse workers talking down on you
Written by Warehouse Associate (Former Employee) from Lincoln, NE on February 6, 2018
Worked here for a few weeks as a season job. Spent every single day standing at my station just packing books into boxes, and absolutely nothing else. When there weren't any books to pack and ship, they told me to just keep standing there and be patient.

The old people who work here year round have quite an ego and think they're better than you - more ... because they've been working there for 900 years and know everything about the business. If you ask a question, they'll talk down on you like you're dumb for not just magically knowing 100% of everything about the business and how things are done. T ... - less
ProsThe first day is awesome because it's easy
ConsRepetitive, egocentric permanent workers, not much to gain other than a paycheck
