Registered Nurse (RN) in Bellevue, NE

If you’re starting out as a new grad I highly recommend Bellevue. Crystal clear communication, helpful team members, better and safer ratios. Overall the Bellevue location sets you up for success. I wish the pay was better.

You build lots of relationships, when you have a good team, they’re the reasons why you go to work. Management can be very iffy, and it’s unfortunate . But if you’re a travel nurse, you’ll make good money. Just not a core staff nurse.
Staff Nurse in Omaha, NE

I truly believe that Nebraska Medicine strives to provide extraordinary care. It was a great hospital to learn skills and is a great learning hospital for new nurses. The work is challenging but it makes for a great opportunity to learn time management and a great skill set.
PPE extender/covid floor assistant in Omaha, NE

You learn a lot working with different patients and staff. Health care is just a demanding field, so it's easy to get burnt out. You see a lot good nurses and techs quit due to the stress. Overall, pay was okay if you live frugally. It's nice that you get to choose your schedule here.

Always busy, fast paced, always learning something new. Complex patients, lots of management support, never feel left alone. Reasonable pay. Wish there were fewer travelers.
