Store wasn't performing well and had everyone on edge with constant turnover. DM and GM starting tweaking schedules dropping many below 15 hours a week. After voicing concerns over hours was deemed to hostile to be part of the team. As a Shift lead I was suppose to be getting 30+ hours a week.
What tips or advice would you give to someone interviewing at Nekter Juice Bar?
Go order something there at peak rush hours such as lunch or the morning time on Saturday and Sunday and then ask yourself if you still want to do that.
Depends on your "team" shifts were typically two manned. Thus loads of multitasking between tasks. Stronger your partner is the smoother the shift went.
If you were in charge, what would you do to make Nekter Juice Bar a better place to work?
When I worked there the scheduling of employees was terrible. They need to have more people work the days they know are busy such as the weekend. People need training on cleaning as well as the store gets dirty and no one will sweep or do anything until they close for the day. also working on the morale of the team would be a massive improve meant as no one seemed to care at all.
Personally had fun with my crew members. Upper Management did not care for my concerns and had difficulty operating the business. Their solution to anyone they do not like is to simply cut hours and hope they will go away. Seriously...No sit down, no evaluation, no communication.
